I wish instead of having to write daily blah posts they just did regular GOOD posts like that… something you can sink your teeth in.
I’m gonna go see if the supermarket next door is open… maybe get me some ice cream.

I’d like to believe I am getting some benefit from Voices. It is very frustrating when a job is posted on July 30 and I receive the posting in my inbox on August 4….by which time 93 people are already ahead of me in the audition line. This happened with several job postings.
And yet, today (August 6) I got jobs in my inbox posted on August 6. I don’t know if they are short staffed, if the Canadian Civic Holiday + the weekend figured into the problem, or if subscribers who pay more money get higher priority. It’s puzzling at times. I don’t seem to get satisfactory answers when I ask the questions.
I do believe they make some efforts on our behalf, but with the amount of voice talent on that site, it is easy to get lost and feel like we are being herded like cattle. Perhaps a smaller audition site would be better, one in which we would stand out and be noticed.
