I am a huge Futurama fan, and one of the most exciting things that happened to me was getting Maurice LeMarche to add me as a friend on facebook. I tried (and failed miserably) to interview him. My long message to him went unheeded. He’s a busy man and I don’t hold grudges … for long. So to commemorate the return of one of my favorite TV shows to tv (though I’m about 16 episodes late) here is a VO recording session for Futurama I found on youtube.. It isn’t very long but I enjoyed it.
If any of my readers is friends with or has the ear of Maurice… I’d greatly appreciate a hookup so I can interview him.

I love the way some of them feel more comfortable standing rather than sitting in order to pump out the characters. It’s mesmerising to watch these professionals in action. They must have such good fun every day coming into work…..not to say that it’s not extremely difficult work!
That kind of gels with how I see performance as a personal thing. There is no right or wrong… just whatever works for the Artist and makes them comfortable.
I would personally love to share that kind of comradery that these folks are experiencing. My experience with cartoons was dubbing as a foreign language so it was not as necessary for the whole cast to be there at the same time.
